A platform for informed and active data

The SCOPEinsight Business Intelligence Platform: Essential Package will soon be available for the SCOPE Pro and the SCOPE Input Retailer. Read on to learn about the features of these packages.

The SCOPEinsight Business Intelligence Platform

At the end of 2021, we launched the SCOPEinsight Business Intelligence (BI) Platform, which gives clients a dynamic and active way to access their agribusiness data. The BI Platform makes it easy to derive insights from the data collected in our assessments. The BI Platform is hosted by our partner Qlik.

Our BI Platform consists of two packages: the Essential Package and the upcoming Advanced Package. The Essential Package collects all the assessment data and displays it in an interactive format. This makes it easy to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the assessed agribusinesses. It also makes it easier to track and report on impact, including demographics and basic financial metrics. The Advanced Package will offer predictive analytics for various challenges facing agribusinesses, such as living income and access to finance.

Initially, the Essential Package was only available for assessments done with the SCOPE Basic tool. However, we are now creating versions for the SCOPE Pro and the SCOPE Input Retailer, which will be ready to be launched in early 2023.

The Essential Package for the SCOPE Pro

The Essential Package for the SCOPE Pro contains all the basic information that is also available in the Essential Package for the SCOPE Basic. On the homepage, it is easy to view the total score for the project, as well as the scores for each dimension. By entering the subpages for the total score and each dimension, you can see further data insights, including benchmarking on both the dimension and subdimension levels.

It is also possible to see other insights about the assessed organizations. These include basic financial information, question-level data, and gender breakdowns of the agribusiness members. You can also benchmark your agribusiness against others in the same sector on a national and regional basis.

The Essential Package for the SCOPE Input Retailer

The homepage for the SCOPE Input Retailer is tailored to the information collected in the assessment.

The Essential Package for the SCOPE Input Retailer is similar to the SCOPE Pro, with some minor changes. Instead of nine dimensions, the SCOPE Input Retailer only measures five dimensions of professionalism. The Essential Package for the Input Retailer also does not include benchmarking by sector, as the SCOPE Input Retailer works with retailers and not farmers working in specific commodities. Otherwise, the pages are the same as the Essential Package for the SCOPE Pro, with benchmarking, detailed insights, and gender breakdowns.
