Announcing new opportunity with the World Bank in Burundi
We have been chosen to be a part of the World Bank-funded Local Development for Jobs Project in Burundi. The goal of the project is to create jobs through improving infrastructure and targeting vulnerable people and SMEs. This will be done through four main components: investments in the local infrastructure, support for value chain development, project management, and a contingency emergency response. Through these four components, the project will create opportunities for income generation in the selected regions and value chains.
Through our Local Expert Velior Développement, we will train 27 SCOPE assessors and conduct 175 assessments with our SCOPE Basic tool. The project leaders will also have access to our Business Intelligence Platform for added ease of viewing data. The results from these assessments will be used to prove impact when the five-year project ends in July. The results can also inform any future capacity building that the agribusinesses may require.
Are you interested in starting your own project with us? Contact us today to discuss how we can work together to professionalize agribusinesses.
