Announcing new project with Rikolto in Honduras and Nicaragua
The global non-profit Rikolto has chosen us to help them strengthen input retailers in Honduras and Nicaragua. The goal of the project is to strengthen the distribution network of the input retailers through technical support and training. Retailers will hopefully discover new, more efficient ways to do their business. This will then increase their sales and generate loyalty.
We will conduct 32 assessments with our SCOPE Input Retailer tool, which was designed in partnership with CNFA, Bayer, and the IFC as part of the Last Mile Retailer program. All the assessed retailers are associated with Cadelga, a commercial group that works in the fertilizer, agro-chemical, and sugar industries. Cadelga is well-positioned in Central and South America, and it has over 50 years of experience in the market. Strengthening their agro-input retailers will be beneficial to other players in the value chain. After the assessments are completed, Rikolto will implement training with the help of the IFC’s Last Mile Retailer curriculum.
