Announcing new project with the IFC in Mali
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has chosen us to help them benchmark male and female-led cooperatives in Mali. The goal of the project is to conduct a benchmark analysis of cooperatives across Mali and West Africa using SCOPEinsight data. This sample will then be analyzed and used to create an average score for reference with other programs. The analysis will specifically look at gender correlations and at the differences between male and female-led cooperatives.
Using our Business Intelligence Platform, we will benchmark both male and female-led cooperatives from Mali and West Africa that operate in the cocoa, rice, and millet value chains. Within these cooperatives, we will identify some of the highest performing ones to analyze in more depth, both from a gender perspective and a management perspective. This will be used for comparison against the female-led cooperatives previously assessed that compromise the Malishi supply chain. This project will also provide recommendations for the best benchmarks to be selected, which will be used in strengthening the Malian cooperatives.
